Those things the people never tell you about your wedding day – the cold, the rain, the mud. Ashleigh and Joeys’ wedding weekend at Tanque Verde Guest Ranch in Tucson had a little of both. But luckily, not all on the same day! A huge winter storm blew into Tucson the week of their wedding. It was freezing cold and it rained all all week. By the wedding day, the rain had moved on and Tucson’s normally warm gorgeous weather had returned. But an outdoor wedding is still an outdoor wedding, so forget about the pristine white shoes. They will look perfect in the 1st photo I take, but unless you want to spend your wedding day on pavement, you just better be prepared to let your shoes and dress enjoy life a little. Which Ashleigh did much to my delight! I love her dirty heels photo, it was a wedding day well enjoyed. The dress will go to the cleaners and look perfect again, but those shoes….those shoes hold memories!
