Chris and Nick + Wedding Day at Tohono Chul Park

New York classic style meets the laid back southwestern desert.  Chris and Nick traveled from their home in New York City back to where they had first met at the U of A in Tucson for their spring wedding.  Eight years together and travels all over the country, but they came back to Tucson to start their new life as a married couple.  Friends and family traveled from all over to spend a celebratory weekend at Westward Look Resort.  The ceremony and reception was held on a bright warm spring day at Tohono Chul Park, my home away from home.  I absolutely loved working with Chris and Nick!  Super organized and were both completely sweet to each other and to me.  Their classical refined style was reflected in the simple yet elegant lines of family style wooden farm tables adorned with greenery and citrus.  Crisp blacks, whites and greys brought the natural colors of the desert scenery out from the background.  Tears were flowing everywhere as handwritten vows were exchanged on the bistro courtyard at Tohono Chul Park.  Every time I work at Tohono Chul Park I am always so inspired by both the natural beauty of the gardens and the niceness of everyone who works there.  The food is always amazing, the drinks are creative, and the staff somehow magically appear and then quickly disappear in and out of the gardens.
