Jeanne Marie and Chris + A Wedding at The Grandview + Hudson River Wedding

After a delightful winter in Arizona, I arrived back in New York for the beautiful summertime wedding for Jeanne Marie and Chris.  I had been looking forward to this wedding all year as I knew so many of the guests.  Plus one of my bff’s, Vivian Lanzarone was shooting with me on this sunny summer day on the Hudson River – what a great welcome back home!   Between the two of us, we had photographed more weddings in this great group of friends that either one of us can count.  Plus, the entire day was spent at The Grandview on the Hudson River where the staff always welcomes me as an old friend and makes the day extra special for everyone.  Jeanne Marie and Chris made things nice and simple for us as they kept their kind of large Irish Italian family members also double up as bridal party members – once we rounded up the family, we also had the bridal party – not as much people wrangling as usual!  They were all about enjoying a beautiful summertime day outside and spending as much time as possible with family and friends.  After a sweet ceremony by Wren Abrams, guests mingled on the patios and lawn and dined and danced in the great outdoor tent on this spectacular summer evening.
