It Never Rains in June in Tucson Arizona…..

Ventana Canyon

Or at least almost never…..especially in June….unless your names are Grace and Neil and it’s your wedding day in Tucson.  It rained, it rained all day.  But then just after the ceremony, the sun peeked out, the clouds drew back, a rainbow appeared, and wow.  Just wow.

Grace and Neil put their entire wedding together in just about 2 months time.  Which is pretty amazing especially when you’re Grace and you’re also about to get your Phd in Materials Engineering.  But it is totally possible if you are very driven and very creative!  Their decision to rent a private home up in the hills of Ventana Canyon was totally out of the box and immensely perfect for a small wedding.  3 balconies with incredible views of the City of Tucson, 6 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, and a large family room that could hold a sit down dinner for 30 people.  Plus, they could stay there for the entire week!  I was and still am totally entranced by the idea.
