Tucson Wedding + The Lodge at Ventana Canyon + Emily and Curtis

When Emily showed me the page in her family bible that was used to record her grandparent’s wedding day, I was so moved!  Emily and Curtis picked her grandparent’s wedding date to be married on – and now their wedding will also be recorded in the family bible.  Such a great time honored tradition that can be passed on from generation to generation!  The long hot summer days in Tucson have moved on and cooler weather makes everybody feel a little happier in September.  It was a gorgeous day!  Emily and Curtis were married at Saint Thomas the Apostle in Tucson.  A seemingly huge number of family photos moved along in record time – this family was ready and waiting – they knew exactly what to do and how to do it fast!  The Lodge at Ventana Canyon was the perfect backdrop for Emily and Curtis’s wedding.  Cooler weather lured the guests out to the gorgeous outdoor patio during the cocktail hour while Emily and Curtis took a quick trip with me up onto the golf course to get some amazing photos with the beautiful views of Tucson below us.  Dinner and dancing followed in the Catalina Room looking out over the mountains and golf course.
