There was no question as to whether I made some photos in Black and White at Sophie’s Bat Mitzvah….this entire event was about color, color, color! Sophie’s mom, Tamar, put an incredible amount of thought and planning into this wonderful day for her oldest daughter. Along with Event Planner Rackel Gehlsen, they put together a beautiful and brightly colored art theme for this very special day. A morning service with Congregation Or Chadash at the Jewish Community Center was followed by a luncheon there and then the party later that evening. Custom made blown glass art pieces were made by Sophie and Tamar in the months leading up to the Bat Mitzvah day. These pieces were used as centerpieces on the luncheon tables early on in the day, and then auctioned off in a silent auction later that evening. There was dancing and games led all evening long by Satyr Entertainment, a glitter tattoo station, 2 photo booths with a custom made graffiti backdrop, a custom air brush tee-shirt booth and so much, much more (even the drinks and hors dourves were multi colored). Congratulations to Sophie and her family!
