I knew Brandon was a chemistry teacher, but it wasn’t until I saw people talking about Pi day on the internet that I realized there was a significance to their wedding date. 3.14.15. And then I saw the custom pi wedding tee-shirts and Brandon’s new Pi tattoo. He won’t ever have an excuse to miss his wedding anniversary! This was my first event at the new Park Avenue wedding venue in the Lost Barrio and I loved everything about this place. The spacious bridal suites, the ping pong table in the guys room, the weathered brick walls, big wooden tables and rustic charm everywhere. Theresa didn’t miss a thing with her all her diy projects either. Custom escort cards alphabetized in a beautiful handmade box; another box filled with goodies, beer and gifts for the groomsmen, custom tee-shirts for the entire bridal party; potted succulents in customized metal pot that both decorated the tables and were gifts for the guests at the end of the evening. Bright beautiful flower colors mixed with succulents were a gorgeous offset to the wood tables, burlap runners and lace covered vases. Robin and the entire staff at Park Avenue Event Center had this entire event running smoothly and seamlessly throughout the day. Oh and the Pie, who could forget about Pi Day! There was a small wedding cake for cutting, but everything else was pie of course. Lemon pie, cherry pie, apple pie….Happy Pi Day everyone!
