Lisette and Bryan + Mt Lemmon Wedding + Arizona Mountain Wedding

Bryan left me a message about wedding photography and I called him back.  He seemed to be a bit distracted so I asked him if this was a good time.  He replied that he had just jumped out of a plane on Long Island and was trying to catch his breathe.  Hmmmm – was this a good client for me?  You bet.  Bryan and Lisette are living in Long Island, NY while he is stationed there as a pararescue jumper with the Air Force.  They planned their Arizona mountaintop wedding to take place in a cabin in the woods on top of Mt Lemmon -leaving the heat of summertime Tucson for the cooling temps on top of Mt Lemmon had me looking forward with excitement to their wedding day festivities.  Bryan, Lisette and their group of family and friends had been busy all week preparing the mountaintop retreat for the wedding day.  The bride’s sister handmade the beautiful and delicious! wedding cake.  A clearing had been made in the woods for the ceremony, with a path lined with mulch and pine boughs for Lisette to walk down the trail to the ceremony site.  The bride wore sandals for the wedding ceremony, but then changed into her well used hiking boots for a photo shoot in the woods after the ceremony.  The Mt Lemmon cabin had been transformed into a beautiful restaurant with elegant dining tables draped in gold silk and a rustic display of flowers in wooden baskets and mason jars atop each table.  Chiavari chairs brought sophistication to the rough log walls of the cabin.
