Anny and Gary + The Historic Bermuda Inn + Staten Island Wedding

And my love affair with Jimmy Choo shoes continues.  This has been the summer of Jimmy Choo for me…..if you’re a shoehound, you’ll know what I mean!

Anny and Gary met me at Cassie and Kristen’s wedding in upstate New York two years ago.  Every wedding that I have photographed this summer has been for someone who attended another wedding I had photographed, which always gives me a very fuzzy feeling inside – I love to be loved!  I headed down to Staten Island on a sunny summer weekend for a beautiful wedding that brought us from one end of the island to the other.   I never see the Verrazanno Bridge without thinking of all the great scenes on it from Saturday Night Fever.  I wonder if Tony Manero ever got his dream home in Staten Island?  Anny and Gary had a stunner of a wedding day that started at St. Patricks Church in historic Richmond Town and ended with a summer evening dance party at the Old Historic Bermuda Inn.  I loved every minute of this day that started with Gary’s name tape from his Marine uniform sewn into the underskirt of Anny’s wedding dress and ended with popcorn and candy favors and an enormous Venetian hour.  Cheryl Bolton Reuter took the trip to Staten Island with me and we had much love for the popcorn bags as we munched on them for the long drive back late that night while reminiscing about what a beautiful wedding we had attended.
