I met Anny and Gary at a wedding last year at at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in upstate New York. We were kinda looking for a place 1/2 way between us (Staten Island and Poughkeepsie) to meet up for engagement photos and I was thinking of the Japanese gardens at Gasho of Japan. I remembered going there for several weddings many many years ago and was even wondering if it still looked as pretty. Well it was still there , and it still was! I was very amazed that the leaves were already turning colors, but of course that is always a perfect thing to have happen to you even if it is a surprise. Anny and Gary were so easy going and fun to work with and Anny learned that she’s pretty good at hiking up and down hills and rocks in high heeled boots. Give me a nice concrete pathway, and somehow it’s almost a guarantee that I will somehow take you off the path and up into the woods every time. ps – I absolutely love Anny’s sense of style. City girl chic with plum velvet boots paired up with Gary’s rugged blue plaid shirt I can’t wait to see this wedding next summer!
