When Maureen and Sean told me they were getting married at the old stone foundation on the 13th hole of Winding Hills Golf Course, I thought, hmmm, I’ve been there for a few weddings but don’t remember an old stone foundation. Well, it was gorgeous! Not a very quick walk, but a convoy of golf carts brought all the guests down to a 1789 stone foundation complete with a stunning garden growing inside and an old well with a poem by Robert Frost inscribed on it. The late afternoon sun just glowed as Maureen and Sean exchanged vows in the old doorway. Wooden birdhouses stuffed with fall flowers decorated the tables and the party kept the guests warm on the dance floor in this 1st of many cold fall evenings to come!
