Winter Wonderland Wedding + Hudson Valley Wedding

Imagine having your brand new Christian Louboutin shoes for your wedding day, and then also having your great-grandmother’s wedding shoes right next to them.  Yours are brand new, hers are well worn.  The scuffed heels and worn leather tell an incredible story.  A holiday wedding is always a joy – fun and festive with the most beautiful decor!   Little blown glass globes in the bouquets reflected off the dancing light of the many Christmas trees at C & S’s winter wonderland wedding.  Silver sparkly reindeer led the Santa sleigh full of wedding cake.  Fir garland wrapped the shining candelabras on the tables and the railing on the riverside.  A traditional full mass at the beautiful Mount Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie was highlighted by a choir singing in the choir loft.  Then on to The Grandview where Christmas carolers in old fashioned costume sang as they welcomed the guests to the cocktail hour.  The early darkness of the December day was brightened by all the carolers and bright white and sparkly flowers and holiday decor. I love a holiday wedding!
